Nobby is so tiny that he actually can’t be contained in the crate ( where they stay overnight and when I’m gone, for safety reasons) because he can just squeeze his head right through the bars.

the blue glaucus is a species of small blue sea slugs that reside in many oceans across the world

these sea slugs are hermaphrodites, which means each blue glaucus has both male and female reproductive organs!

a group of them is called a ‘blue fleet’ and can often sting people in water

they reach up to lengths of only 3cm!

they eat portuguese man o’ wars and recycle the stinging cells to use as their own protective devices :]
