the blue glaucus!
the blue glaucus is a species of small blue sea slugs that reside in many oceans across the world
these sea slugs are hermaphrodites, which means each blue glaucus has both male and female reproductive organs!
a group of them is called a ‘blue fleet’ and can often sting people in water
they reach up to lengths of only 3cm!
they eat portuguese man o’ wars and recycle the stinging cells to use as their own protective devices :]
